the first kitten was born with a strange paw/wrist. i think i'd be more inclined to pick a kitten that's crippled. hopefully other people feel the same way.

yesterday i got a letter in the mail from my friend lisa launching our correspondence. it was truly the highlight of a terrible, terrible week full of irrational worrying and anxiety and also difficulty sleeping. there's nothing worse than not being able to sleep when you're exhausted. i actually wrote her back immediately after i got the letter, and i'll be mailing it soon.

enclosed were some tea, a paper snowflake crafted by lisa,

and a little capsule with a tiny monster that expands in warm water. i think it looks like a martian. a martian with one arm.

i still haven't really gotten the hang of the layout aspect of blogging. you'll have to help me, lerin, as well as sending me a letter or two of your own to show that you haven't forgotten me. i know you have a blog dedicated to keeping me informed, but thats just not enough for me.

an attempt

for whatever reason, kate moss was next to impossible to draw. i'm still not completely satisfied with it. chanel iman was easier and more fun to draw.

went halloween shopping today and didn't find anything, so i think i'm going to have to make my own halloween decorations this year.
